Religious Education Department

Mrs. Patricia Sileo, Religious Education Director

Welcome to the Office of Catechetical Ministry

Our faith journey and ongoing faith formation calls us to know and to live our Catholic traditions.

St. Martha offers and encourages students in Kindergarten through 5th grades to participate in experiences offered through Religious Education.

Our Junior and Senior High Parishioners are invited to participate in our C.R.E.E.D. courses (this stands for continuing religious education), social and service projects, and especially Liturgies during the year.  High School students meet in the Conference Room in the Parish Hall and follow the same calendar as Religious Education.

Our SUNDAY Religious Education Program begins each Sunday with a Mass with Families at 9:00 a.m. in the Fausto Parish Center.  Your family can worship together at this Mass, take a short break in the Friendship Room with coffee on the 2nd floor of the Parish Building: Religious Education Classes are 10:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on the 2nd floor of the Parish Building. Families must be registered parishioners of St. Martha Church. To participate, a registration form for Religious Education must be completed and returned each year to the Religious Education Office.

The opportunity to participate in Liturgy is especially important because the students are learning about their Catholic Faith in classes and need to connect their learning and faith experiences to both Liturgy and Eucharist, the summit and source for all Catholics; Liturgy forms us as Catholics.
